Over the past 20 years, the Eastern Stream Center has earned a national reputation for excellence in providing professional development and technical assistance to ensure success for all students. We are located at the State University of New York at Oneonta, with a satellite office in Tampa, FL, and staff in Washington, DC, Chestertown, NY, and Orlando and Gainesville, FL.
Eastern Stream staff have expertise in teaching strategies for at-risk students, such as migrant youth, low-performing readers, English language learners, and students with disabilities. We also partner with state departments of education and Regional Comprehensive Centers to build capacity in policy and compliance with respect to No Child Left Behind.
