Upcoming Institutes and Archives
Clients often tell us that the realm of education reform feels like a moving target. Differentiated instruction, NCLB requirements, meeting the needs of AYP subgroups -- it can be overwhelming to keep up with the latest trends, let alone know what it means for your own day-to-day work as a teacher or administrator.
The Eastern Stream Center offers professional development to help ease that concern of "Now what do I do?". Each of our trainers translates the theories of research into strategies that can be applied in the classroom, program, or district.
We offer 2-day institutes on a variety of topics, including:
- Classroom instruction for English language learners
- Coaching principles for job embedded professional learning
- Migrant education - identification and recruitment, and parent involvement
- Response to Intervention
- Autistic spectrum disorders
